  • πŸ”Ž Nature-based discovery activities
  • 🀝 Team games and problem-solving challenges

🌿 Meet Our Facilitator – Mohammad Osman

We are pleased to have Mohammad Osman as our trusted and qualified facilitator leading the Survival Games.

Mohammad has extensive experience in nature-based activities and working with children and young people. He was a Scouts Leader and advocate for many years, supporting young people to experience the outdoors, develop practical skills and grow in confidence.

Through his experience, Mohammad will encourage children to explore safely, challenge themselves, work as a team, learn practical skills and develop a greater appreciation for the natural world around them.

We are really excited for our young explorers to benefit from Mohammad's knowledge, enthusiasm and experience throughout the Survival Games programme.

πŸ’š Connecting With Nature

A key focus of Survival Games is helping children build a positive and meaningful connection with nature.

We want children to see their local green spaces as places where they can explore, play, learn and feel a sense of belonging. Through practical activities and outdoor challenges, children will be encouraged to notice the environment around them and discover new ways of enjoying nature.

The programme also supports the wider aims of This Is Us, creating opportunities for children and families across North East Sheffield to connect, participate, build confidence, develop relationships and feel more connected to their local community and environment.

Children will have opportunities to develop teamwork, communication, resilience, independence, problem-solving and confidence, all while being active and having fun outdoors.

πŸ‘Ÿ What Should My Child Bring?

As this is an outdoor session, please make sure your child:

  • wears comfortable clothes and suitable footwear for running and exploring;
  • brings a waterproof coat if rain is expected;
  • dresses appropriately for the weather; and
  • brings a water bottle.

Please send children in clothing that you don't mind getting muddy or dirty! Exploring nature is all part of the Survival Games experience.

πŸ“Œ Important Booking Information

Places are limited, so please only book a place if your child is able to attend. If your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can offer the place to another child.

Parents/carers must provide accurate contact, medical, allergy and emergency information when registering.

🧭 Want to Join Our Other Survival Games?

This Ticket Tailor booking is for Saturday 12th September only, but this is part of a wider series of Survival Games sessions.

Parents are welcome to register separately for our other available Survival Games dates. Each session will give children another opportunity to explore, take on new challenges, build their outdoor skills and strengthen their connection with nature.

Come along, get outdoors and see if your young explorer has what it takes to take on the Survival Games! 🌿πŸ”₯🧭
