🌊 Sip & Craft – Ocean & Waves Edition
Sip & Craft returns with a refreshing new theme—Ocean & Waves—inviting young people aged 11–18 to dive into an evening of creativity, colour, and calm. Taking place on Friday 6th November from 5pm–7pm at Christ Church, Station Road, this free workshop blends gentle crafting with a soothing, coastal-inspired atmosphere designed to support wellbeing and self‑expression.
Participants will be welcomed into a relaxed, friendly space where they can sip a warm drink and explore a variety of art materials. Guided by supportive facilitators, attendees will create ocean‑themed artwork—from abstract wave patterns to serene beachscapes—using paints, pencils, mixed media, and decorative elements. Whether they’re seasoned artists or complete beginners, every young person will have the freedom to experiment, express themselves, and enjoy the process.
Supported by BBC Children in Need and Sheffield Young Explorers, this session encourages creativity as a tool for confidence‑building, emotional regulation, and positive social connection. The small‑group format ensures each participant receives encouragement, inspiration, and space to craft at their own pace.
